    Installing and activating your VoIP account is designed to be quick and easy. Your VoIP equipment is shipped to you with a default configuration that allows it to be automatically configured with the required network settings using DHCP. As with any computer or network device, not every environment is the same and may require procedures that differ from the default procedures.

    Standard Installation:
    The standard installation procedure assumes:

    • You have a high-speed internet connection (cable/DSL/other)
    • A home router or gateway to share your internet connection
    • DHCP running on your network (most home routers do this)

    1. Installation of your hardware

    1. Connect one end of the Ethernet Cable to your Router or Gateway

    3. Connect the line of the regular phone to your VoIP Broadband Phone Adapter
    4. Connect the Power adapter to your VoIP Broadband Phone Adapter
    5. Wait 5 minutes so your VoIP Broadband Phone Adapter synchronizes with the router
